Metal Slug 7 on the DS is basically the same chaotic, over-the-top run-and-gun action you love, just crammed into your pocket. You’ll still be dodging bullets, rescuing POWs, and hopping into ridiculous vehicles—only now you can do it on the bus. The tiny screen somehow doesn’t ruin the charm of those chunky pixel explosions.
It’s got all the usual Metal Slug madness: one-hit deaths, screen-filling bosses, and that moment where you panic and waste all your heavy weapon ammo. The new branching paths keep things interesting, though I still end up replaying levels just to see what weird secret routes I missed the first time.
