Game Overview
Meteors is that brutally simple MS-DOS shooter where space wants you dead. You're just a tiny ship against an endless wave of asteroids—some big and slow, others splitting into faster, angrier rocks when you shoot them. And if UFOs weren't bad enough, the screen quickly becomes a mess of spinning debris and laser fire.
There's something hypnotic about how it escalates. At first it feels manageable, then suddenly you're weaving through a minefield of fragments, thumb cramping on the arrow keys. The sound effects are pure nostalgia—those crunchy explosions and the tense hum when a UFO appears. I still remember the way my old monitor would flicker when the screen got too chaotic.
No power-ups, no story, just you and a high score that taunts you after every game over. It's the kind of game where "one more try" turns into twenty.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
