Monster Business came out on the Amiga in 1991 from Ascon GmbH. It was part of that wave of early 90s action games that felt like a direct translation of arcade ideas to the home computer, built for quick sessions and high scores rather than a long narrative.

You control Bob, a zookeeper armed with a stun gun, and your job is to clear each vertically scrolling level of escaped animals. The core mechanic is stunning a creature with a short-range blast, then hitting it again to launch it upward; if it hits another animal on the way up, you start a combo. Chaining these hits together drops fruit, which you need to collect before the timer runs out. The pace is relentless, and the screen is always moving, forcing you to act quickly while planning your shots. It feels like a tense, chaotic puzzle where every shot matters.
