Game Overview

Monster Business is this weirdly addictive Amiga game where you play as Bob, a zoo owner whose animals have totally lost it. Monkeys, snakes—everything’s gone rogue, and now you’ve gotta wrangle them with this awkward little gun that barely shoots far enough to matter.

The levels scroll upward, full of ramps and ledges, and your goal is to blast a creature just long enough to make it inflate like a balloon before letting it fly. If you hit it again mid-air, it bursts into fruit (because why not?). The whole thing’s on a timer, and if you’re too slow, the game starts yelling at you to hurry up—but finish fast, and you get a bonus. It’s chaotic in the best way, like someone mashed Dig Dug and a zoo simulator together.

Honestly, the gun’s short range makes it way harder than it should be, but that’s half the fun. You’ll miss shots, panic when the timer kicks in, and then somehow pull off a perfect combo when you least expect it.
