Game Overview

Monty Python’s Flying Circus on MS-DOS is exactly as weird as you’d hope—you play as Mr. Gumby (yes, the one with the knotted hankie) chucking fish at flying feet and other nonsense enemies. The levels jump between random bits of Python madness, like suddenly getting a deadpan nature documentary about trees mid-gameplay or an unexpected Breakout minigame. It’s chaotic, but in that perfect way where you can tell the developers just went all-in on the show’s vibe.

Controls are simple arcade stuff, but half the fun is seeing what bizarre reference pops up next. If you’re into Python’s brand of humor, it’s like playing through a fever dream of their sketches. Just don’t expect it to make much sense—that’s kind of the point.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
