Play Moraff's Tempt-Tris Online
Blocks drop like normal Tetris at first, then suddenly flip sideways or speed up—your muscle memory won’t save you here. That jarring neon and screechy synth somehow make the chaos addictive.

Moraff's Tempt-Tris came out in 1992 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by Moraffware. It was one of those shareware titles you'd find on a floppy disk, a Tetris variant that stood out in an era when puzzle games were starting to get more experimental. The presentation was simple, even by early 90s standards, but it had a distinct personality that made it memorable among DOS gamers.
You control the falling blocks, trying to clear lines like in standard Tetris, but the game constantly throws curveballs. Blocks might suddenly rotate sideways, change their speed without warning, or shift in unexpected ways. The objective is to survive as long as possible while the game deliberately disrupts your rhythm. The pacing is relentless; just when you think you have a handle on things, the mechanics shift again. It feels like a constant, playful battle against the game's own trickery.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
