Play Mortal Kombat Advance Online
Choose your fighter, battle through one-on-one matches, pull off special moves, and try to defeat all opponents to win the tournament in Mortal Kombat Advance.
Mortal Kombat Advance came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, developed by Midway Games. It was one of the earlier attempts to bring the series to a handheld, arriving when the GBA library was still growing. You got a portable version of the arcade fighter, with the core cast and moves intact, though it definitely felt scaled down for the hardware.
You pick a fighter like Scorpion or Sub-Zero and battle through a series of one-on-one matches. The main goal is to win the tournament by defeating each opponent, including secret characters and bosses. Signature mechanics include performing special moves, like Scorpion's spear or Liu Kang's bicycle kick, and triggering fatalities at the end of a fight. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can spike sharply, especially against later AI opponents. It feels like a condensed, sometimes janky, but still fun version of the arcade experience you could take anywhere.
