Ms. Pac-Man on the Game Boy is basically the same classic maze chase you remember, but with a few twists. Instead of just Pac-Man, you're playing as his girlfriend—same dots, same ghosts, but now with these little animated cutscenes between levels that show their weirdly adorable romance (yes, it somehow leads to them having a baby).

The ghosts still have those distinct personalities—Blinky’s aggressive, Pinky’s sneaky—but the mazes are different from the original, with warp tunnels that actually help sometimes. And those power pellets? Still your best friend. Nothing beats the panic-turned-triumph when you gobble one up and suddenly the hunters become the hunted. Just don’t get too cocky—they turn back fast.

It’s simple, it’s nostalgic, and honestly, it holds up better than you’d expect for a Game Boy port. The controls are tight, and those intermission scenes are weirdly charming.
