You control Ms. Pac-Man, moving her through a series of single-screen mazes to eat all the dots while avoiding four colored ghosts. The main goal is to clear each stage, using power pellets to temporarily turn the tables and eat the ghosts for extra points. The game introduces new maze layouts and occasional intermission cutscenes that show a little romantic pursuit between her and Pac-Man. The pacing stays quick, and the difficulty ramps up steadily as the ghosts get smarter and faster.
