Play Ms. Pac PC Online
Guide Ms. Pac-Man through the maze, munch on dots, dodge ghosts, and snag power pellets to chase them down for points.
Ms. Pac PC came out in 1983 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Namco. It was one of those early PC ports that tried to bring the arcade experience home, a time when simple controls and bright colors did a lot of heavy lifting. You could find it running on machines that hummed and blinked with each keystroke, a familiar sight next to text adventures and flight simulators.
You control Ms. Pac-Man, guiding her through a maze to eat all the dots while avoiding four persistent ghosts. The main goal is to clear each screen; eating a power pellet lets you turn the tables and chase the ghosts for a short time. Two signature mechanics include the warp tunnels on either side of the maze, which teleport you across the screen to escape or ambush, and the bouncing fruit that appears mid-level for extra points. The pacing is relentless, with ghosts speeding up as the dots disappear, and the difficulty climbs quickly after the first few boards. It feels like a tense game of cat and mouse where every corner could be a trap or a temporary victory.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
