Okay, so this is one of those weird late-era Game Boy Color games that somehow got made—a Muppets platformer where Kermit and Animal hop through time to rescue the gang. It’s exactly as janky as you’d expect from a licensed game in 2000, but there’s something charming about watching Kermit do a stiff little jump over spikes while Animal smashes things with his drumsticks.
The levels are themed around different time periods (dinosaurs, medieval castles, etc.), and you switch between the two characters to solve basic puzzles—Kermit’s all about precision, while Animal just brute-forces his way through obstacles. The controls are a bit slippery, and the hit detection sometimes feels unfair, but if you grew up with the Muppets, the nostalgia might carry you through. Just don’t expect a hidden gem.
