Okay, so this is one of those weird little Game Boy Color gems where Kermit and Animal team up to save the rest of the Muppets—because of course it's those two. You jump through these colorful time portals, bouncing between ancient Egypt, medieval castles, and the wild west, which honestly feels like a fever dream in the best way.
The controls are a bit stiff (it's 2000, what do you expect?), but there's something charming about watching Animal smash through obstacles while Kermit does his awkward little jumps. Some levels are frustratingly precise, but the goofy sound effects and weird enemy designs (why is there a cowboy chicken?) make up for it.
If you grew up with the Muppets, this is pure nostalgia with a side of janky platforming.
