Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 came out for the Nintendo GameCube in 2003, developed by Eighting and published by Tomy Corporation. It was one of the earlier fighting games to try and capture the feel of the anime, arriving before the series became a massive global hit. You pick a character from the show, like Naruto or Sasuke, and fight against another player or the computer in 3D arenas. The main goal is to deplete your opponent's health bar using a mix of basic attacks, special jutsu, and super moves called Secret Techniques. You build chakra by landing hits, which you then spend to unleash these powerful attacks; timing and spacing matter, as many moves can be dodged or countered.
