Ninja Council 2 (or Saikyou Ninja Daikesshu 2 if you're fancy) is pure early-2000s ninja chaos—side-scrolling through Leaf Village rooftops, spamming Rasengan with Naruto’s weirdly satisfying chunky animations, or pretending you’re cool while playing as Sasuke. The pixel art somehow nails the anime’s energy, especially during boss fights against Zabuza’s massive sword swings or Haku’s mirror tricks.
It’s not exactly complex—you’ll button-mash through most enemies—but there’s something about the way kunai thunk into bad guys or Sakura’s weirdly overpowered punch that just feels right. And that soundtrack? Still stuck in my head. Definitely more "nostalgia trip" than "hardcore fighter," but sometimes that’s all you need.
