Play Ninja Five-0 (U)(Trashman) Online
Swing through levels, rescue hostages, and take down enemies as you control Joe, a ninja using stealth, speed, and a grappling hook in Ninja Five-0 on Game Boy Advance.
Ninja Five-0 came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2003, developed and published by Konami. It arrived during a period when the GBA library was full of action platformers, but this one stood out for its unique blend of stealth, speed, and acrobatics. You play as Joe Osugi, an elite ninja operative sent to stop a terrorist group that has taken hostages across the city.
You control Joe through side-scrolling levels, using a katana for close combat and a versatile grappling hook to swing across gaps, scale walls, and perform aerial attacks. The main objective is to rescue all hostages in each stage while avoiding or eliminating enemies, often requiring careful timing and route planning. Two signature mechanics include using the grappling hook to traverse environments quickly and perform hit-and-run tactics, as well as executing stealth kills by dropping onto unaware foes. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can be punishing, demanding precision with every jump and swing. It feels fluid and responsive, making each successful maneuver deeply satisfying.
