Play Ninja Kun - Ashura no Shou (Japan) Online
You bounce between platforms as ninjas swarm from every direction—the controls feel loose at first, but there’s something oddly satisfying once you get the rhythm. That chiptune soundtrack and chaotic energy give it that rough-around-the-edges NES charm.

Game Overview
Ninja Kun - Ashura no Shou is that weird, kinda janky NES sequel to Ninja-Kid that never made it outside Japan. You’re still running and jumping through side-scrolling levels, but this time everything’s a little faster and more chaotic—enemies come at you from all angles, and the platforming feels just slippery enough to keep you on your toes. The art’s got that classic 80s arcade vibe, all bright colors and exaggerated animations.
It’s one of those games where you’ll die a lot at first because the controls take some getting used to, but once it clicks, there’s a weird charm to it. The music’s catchy in that old-school way, too. Definitely not the most polished NES game, but if you’re into obscure retro action, it’s an interesting little time capsule.
