Game Overview
Ninjawarriors Again is a slick SNES remake of Taito’s old arcade beat-em-up, and honestly? It holds up way better than it has any right to. You pick between three ninjas—each with their own weird little quirks—and just wreck entire armies of goons. The sprites are chunky and satisfying, and there’s something deeply therapeutic about slicing through a line of soldiers like they’re made of wet paper.
It’s a shame you can’t team up with a buddy, though. The single-player-only thing feels like a missed opportunity when the combat’s this fluid. Still, if you’re into methodically dismantling enemy hordes with ridiculous ninja moves, this one’s a blast. Just don’t expect much depth beyond that.
