Game Overview
Nintendogs: Dachshund & Friends is basically the reason I still keep my old DS charged. You start by picking out your puppy—I always go for the stubborn little wiener dog with the floppy ears—and suddenly you're deep in it, trying to teach them to sit while they just stare at you like you've lost your mind.
The touchscreen makes it weirdly satisfying to scratch behind their ears or toss a frisbee, and yeah, I’ve definitely caught myself talking to the screen when they do that head-tilt thing. It’s not all fetch and belly rubs though—forget to walk them enough and they’ll leave little "presents" on your virtual floor. Learned that the hard way.
If you ever wanted a dog but your landlord said no, this is the next best thing. Just don’t blame me when you start buying actual dog toys "for research."
