The sequel smoothed out a lot of the first game’s rough edges, adding better diplomacy and more historical events, so your schemes actually feel like they matter.

Fair warning: the interface is pure ’90s strategy—clunky menus, tiny text, and a manual thicker than a history textbook. But if you can get past that, there’s nothing else quite like it.
