Play Noctropolis Online
You're a bookstore clerk dragged into a comic book city where you bluff your way as a hero, solving puzzles while live-action villains chew the scenery in perpetual neon-lit night.

Noctropolis came out in 1994 for MS-DOS, published by Electronic Arts. It was a point-and-click adventure from that era, using full-motion video and digitized actors to build its world. The game stood out for its dark comic book aesthetic and its commitment to a very specific, moody atmosphere.
You play as Peter Grey, a bookstore clerk who gets pulled into the pages of a comic called Noctropolis. Your main goal is to navigate this dangerous city, solve inventory-based puzzles, and outwit a cast of theatrical villains. The gameplay involves screen-by-screen exploration, interacting with objects and characters, and making choices that affect how the story unfolds. The pacing is deliberate, sometimes slow, with a difficulty that leans on obscure puzzle logic typical of the genre. It feels like stumbling through a bizarre, interactive B-movie where every conversation could lead to a dead end or a sudden, strange victory.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
