Play Ooze - Creepy Nites Online
You're a wobbly blob of goo sneaking through creepy hallways, splitting yourself to solve puzzles while dodging whatever's lurking in the dark. The janky controls feel straight out of a '90s basement PC session.

Ooze: Creepy Nites came out in 1994 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by Flair Software Ltd. It was one of those odd, experimental titles that popped up in the shareware era, offering a mix of puzzle and action that felt distinctly mid-90s PC. You don't hear much about it now, but it had a certain charm for players willing to dig into something a little offbeat.
You control a sentient, gelatinous ooze, navigating through a series of dark, maze-like environments. Your main goal is to escape each level by reaching the exit, but you'll need to solve environmental puzzles and avoid or outmaneuver various enemies. Key mechanics include splitting your ooze into smaller, controllable blobs to activate switches or fit through narrow passages, as well as recombining to regain mass and strength. The pacing is deliberate, almost slow, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly due to limited visibility and somewhat unforgiving enemy behavior. Playing it feels like fumbling through a damp, shadowy cellar where every decision carries weight.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
