Play Overdrive Online
Tiny car, brutal speed—you’re white-knuckling through hairpin turns while rivals try to shove you into the guardrails. That synth track still lives in my head rent-free.

Game Overview
Overdrive is one of those MS-DOS racers that somehow makes a handful of pixels feel like life-or-death speed. You’re basically wrestling a tiny car around absurdly sharp turns while rivals try to sideswipe you into oblivion—and the music? Pure late-night, neon-drenched energy. The first time I played, I wiped out on like five corners in a row before realizing you actually have to slow down sometimes (who knew?).
It’s got that perfect balance of easy to pick up but punishing to master—the AI cars don’t mess around, and some tracks feel like threading a needle at 100mph. No power-ups, no gimmicks, just you and the road. Still holds up if you’re into that raw, skill-based arcade rush. Just don’t blame me when you start hearing synth beats in your sleep.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
