Pac-Gal was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a release that bundled several early titles for the platform. It was developed by a small team whose name isn't widely remembered today, but the game fits right into that era of straightforward, maze-chase gameplay that many computer users enjoyed in the late 80s and early 90s.

You control a fast-moving character through a series of single-screen labyrinths, gobbling dots while avoiding four colorful ghosts. The main goal is to clear each stage by collecting every dot, with occasional power pellets letting you turn the tables and hunt the ghosts for extra points. The mazes are tight, the ghosts are persistent, and the pacing is relentless; one wrong move can end your run in seconds. It feels tense and rewarding when you slip past a closing trap or successfully clear a screen under pressure.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
