Play Pac-Man World (E)(Rising Sun) Online

Pac-Man waddles through 3D-ish worlds now, butt-bouncing ghosts and rev-rolling past traps between classic chomping sprees when you grab power pellets. The giant ghost bosses are stupidly fun to outmaneuver.

Game Overview

Pac-Man World for the Game Boy Advance came out in 2004, developed by Namco. It was part of that wave of classic characters getting new life on handhelds, a time when you could carry something a bit more involved than the arcade original in your pocket. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, just gave Pac-Man a new playground.

You control Pac-Man through a series of themed worlds, each made up of individual, screen-by-screen levels. Your main goal is to rescue your family, the Pac-Family, which means exploring every corner, chomping dots, and collecting fruit. The key moves are the rev roll, a dash attack to break obstacles and stun ghosts, and the butt bounce to smash things below you or bounce on enemies. The pacing is steady, with some tricky platforming sections that keep you on your toes. It feels like a solid, compact adventure that respects the original while doing its own thing.
