I picked up Pac-Man World for the Game Boy Advance back in 2001, published by ZOO Digital. It was one of those titles that felt right at home on the handheld, a familiar arcade concept adapted for on-the-go play during a time when portable gaming was really hitting its stride.

You control Pac-Man through a series of isometric 3D mazes, navigating screen by screen to clear all the pellets while avoiding the four colored ghosts. The main goal is straightforward: eat everything without getting caught. Signature mechanics include using power pellets to temporarily turn the tables and chase the ghosts, and collecting fruit for extra points. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty ramps up steadily as you progress through the stages. It feels satisfying to outmaneuver the ghosts and clean a screen completely.
