Game Overview

Pac-Man World (EU) on GBA is a stripped-down version of the PlayStation original. You still run, jump, and butt-bounce through colorful levels as Pac-Man, but it feels smaller—half the stages are gone, along with bosses and the hub world.

The cutscenes are just static images with text now, which makes the story about rescuing Pac-Man's family feel rushed. The levels that remain are fun in short bursts, but you notice the missing factory stages and maze mode when the credits roll too soon.

It's still Pac-Man in 3D platformer form, just thinner. If you've played the PlayStation version, this one might leave you wanting. If not, it's a decent way to kill time, just don't expect the full experience.
