Play Pako Online
Dodge police cars and weave through a tight parking lot in Pako, trying to survive as long as possible without getting wrecked.
I first played Pako back in the late '90s, one of those MS-DOS games from 1996 that felt right at home on a clunky desktop. It was developed by Sumea, a name I hadn't heard much before or since, but the game stuck with me. In an era packed with sprawling adventures and complex simulations, Pako was a straightforward arcade-style chase, the kind you'd boot up for ten minutes of pure tension between homework assignments.
You control a lone car trying to survive inside a tight, maze-like parking lot swarming with police cruisers. Your only goal is to avoid getting cornered or wrecked for as long as possible. The mechanics are simple but tense: you weave between rows of parked cars, use sudden reversals to throw off pursuers, and hunt for brief moments of open space before the cops close in again. The pacing is relentless; one mistake often leads to a pile-up and a quick game over. It feels like being hunted in a claustrophobic metal cage, and every second of escape brings a shaky kind of relief.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
