Play Patriot Online
Command a military force, move units across maps, capture objectives, and outmaneuver the enemy in this turn-based strategy game from 1993.
Patriot came out in 1993 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, published by Three-Sixty Pacific, Inc. It was one of those thoughtful, turn-based strategy titles that felt right at home in an era when complex simulations and war games still had a strong foothold on PC.
You command a modern military force, moving units like tanks and infantry across grid-based maps to capture key objectives or eliminate the enemy. The game emphasizes careful positioning and supply management; battles play out automatically once you commit, so pre-planning is everything. The pacing is deliberate, almost tense, as you try to outmaneuver the AI with limited resources. It feels like a tense game of chess where every mistake echoes across the battlefield.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
