Game Overview
Pegs is one of those MS-DOS games that looks deceptively simple—until you're three moves in and realize you've already trapped yourself. You start with a board full of pegs, jumping them over each other like checkers, trying to whittle it down to just one. The first few rounds feel easy, but then suddenly you're staring at three lonely pegs with no way to finish. That's when the real obsession kicks in.
There's something weirdly satisfying about the click of the cursor moving pegs around, even with the bare-bones graphics. No tutorials, no fancy effects—just you and the puzzle. I lost way too much time to this back in the day, and it still holds up if you're into that "one more attempt" kind of challenge. If you've ever rage-quit Solitaire only to immediately restart, Pegs will ruin your productivity in the best way.
Fair warning: you might dream about peg patterns after a while.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
