You control Alis, a young woman seeking revenge for her brother's death. The game mixes overhead exploration in towns and on the world map with first-person, grid-based dungeons. You fight enemies in turn-based combat, using weapons like swords and guns, or magic spells learned along the way. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty is substantial, especially in the mazelike dungeons that require careful mapping. It feels immersive and surprisingly detailed for an 8-bit experience.
