Game Overview
Pocket Monsters Stadium 2 is basically the N64’s way of letting you throw down with your Pokémon in full 3D glory. It’s not a full RPG—no wandering through tall grass here—but if you’ve ever wanted to see your team from Red/Blue or Gold/Silver duke it out on a big screen, this is it.
The battles feel way more intense with the camera swooping around as your Charizard flamethrowers some poor unsuspecting Pidgey. And yeah, the graphics were mind-blowing back then—still kinda charming now, honestly. You can use your Game Boy Pokémon via the Transfer Pak (if you’ve got one), or just pick from the built-in roster and jump straight into fights.
It’s got that classic turn-based strategy, but with just enough flair to make it feel fresh on the N64. Definitely a nostalgia trip if you grew up with the early Pokémon games.
