Play Pokemon Derpizard (v1.2) Online
Your Charmander looks permanently concussed, wild Pokémon have extra limbs in all the wrong places, and gym leaders somehow keep straight faces while battling you with their derpy teams. It shouldn’t work this well, but here we are.

Pokemon Derpizard (v1.2) is a fan-made Game Boy Advance release from an unknown developer, surfacing during the peak of the GBA's homebrew scene. It fits right in with the era's experimental, often humorous, ROM hacks that played with the familiar mechanics of the mainline Pokemon games, offering a fresh, if unpolished, take on the formula.
You control a young trainer navigating a glitched-out region, capturing and battling with intentionally misshapen Pokemon. The main goal is still to collect badges and challenge the Elite Four, but the journey is defined by its bizarre signature mechanics. You'll encounter wild Pokemon with scrambled sprites and unpredictable typings, engage in battles where moves sometimes have completely unintended effects, and explore towns where NPCs spout nonsensical dialogue. The pacing is deliberately uneven, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly due to the chaotic nature of the altered game systems. It feels like playing a corrupted cartridge that somehow remains functional and weirdly compelling.
