You control a young trainer navigating a glitched-out region, capturing and battling with intentionally misshapen Pokemon. The main goal is still to collect badges and challenge the Elite Four, but the journey is defined by its bizarre signature mechanics. You'll encounter wild Pokemon with scrambled sprites and unpredictable typings, engage in battles where moves sometimes have completely unintended effects, and explore towns where NPCs spout nonsensical dialogue. The pacing is deliberately uneven, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly due to the chaotic nature of the altered game systems. It feels like playing a corrupted cartridge that somehow remains functional and weirdly compelling.
