Remember dumping quarters into that old arcade Pong machine? Well, it’s back—but way weirder and way more fun. This Game Boy Color version throws in wild twists like Jungle Pong (watch out for vines) and Football Pong (goalposts included). Oh, and there’s four-player chaos if you’ve got friends brave enough to face you.
The 3D graphics are charmingly blocky, and yeah, there are animated penguins for some reason. They don’t do much, but they waddle around like they own the place. First time I booted it up, I lost a match because I was too busy laughing at them.
It’s still Pong at heart, just with enough madness to keep you hooked.
