Play PopCorn Online
Bounce a pixel-perfect ball through chunky CGA blocks—the satisfying crack of bricks and tricky ricochets make this DOS paddle game way more addictive than it looks. Those moving bricks in later levels? Pure chaos.

PopCorn came out in 1989 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Christophe Lacaze. It was one of those straightforward, unassuming titles that filled out software catalogs in the era, built for quick sessions on a machine that was more about function than flair.
You control a small paddle at the bottom of the screen, deflecting a bouncing ball to break apart formations of bricks. The main goal is to clear each screen completely while preventing the ball from falling past your paddle. Signature mechanics include ricocheting the ball at precise angles to hit bricks tucked into corners, and dealing with moving obstacles that add unpredictability to later stages. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty ramps up steadily as layouts become more complex and gaps harder to exploit. It feels sharp and responsive, a game of angles and reflexes that stays engaging through its simplicity.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
