I picked up Power Rangers: Super Legends for the Nintendo DS back in 2007, a Disney Interactive Studios release that fit right in with the era's love for portable beat 'em ups. It was one of those games you'd grab hoping for some straightforward action between classes or on a long ride, nothing too ambitious but solid for what it was.
You control a team of Power Rangers, switching between them to punch and kick through screen after screen of enemy grunts. The main goal is to clear each stage of villains, using special team-up attacks and timed jumps to handle bigger groups. The touch screen comes into play for finishing moves and swapping Rangers on the fly, which breaks up the button mashing. It's not particularly hard, but it moves at a good clip, and landing a combo that clears the screen just feels satisfying.
