Game Overview
Power Rangers: Super Legends on the DS is basically a love letter to fans of the show—you pick your favorite Ranger (I always go with the Red one, obviously) and jump into side-scrolling beat-em-up action. The sprites are chunky and colorful, and there’s something satisfying about plowing through Putty Patrollers with your team’s special moves.
What surprised me was the time-travel twist—one minute you’re fighting in Angel Grove, the next you’re in some weird futuristic city. The Micronauts stuff feels a little tacked on, but hey, more villains to punch. The DS touchscreen gets used for quick team swaps and finishing moves, which keeps fights from getting too repetitive.
It’s not the deepest brawler out there, but if you ever yelled "It’s morphin’ time!" at your TV as a kid, this one’s a solid nostalgia trip.
