Premier Manager 2 came out in 1993 for MS-DOS, developed by Realms of Fantasy and published by Gremlin Graphics. It was part of that wave of early 90s football management sims, sitting right alongside titles like Championship Manager, but with its own particular flavor. The game didn't try to dazzle with graphics; it was all about the numbers and the decisions, a proper spreadsheet simulator dressed in club colors.

You take control of every aspect of a football club, from setting training schedules and picking the starting eleven to negotiating player transfers and managing the club's finances. The main objective is simple: win matches, climb the leagues, and build a dynasty. Key mechanics include adjusting player positions and tactics before each match, then watching the action play out through text commentary that can be either brutally efficient or comically inept. The pacing is deliberate, almost slow, demanding patience as you tweak formations and hope your star striker's morale doesn't plummet after a bad result. It feels like a constant, absorbing puzzle where every choice has a consequence, for better or much worse.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
