Play Pro Sport Hockey on Snes Online
Pick an NHL team, slap pucks top-down, and chase that satisfying season climb—just watch out for the AI’s suspiciously perfect shots.

Game Overview
Pro Sport Hockey on SNES is one of those old-school hockey games that somehow nails the fast, chaotic feel of the sport despite the simple top-down view. You get all 24 NHL teams and nearly 300 real players (well, as "real" as 16-bit sprites can be). The season mode’s where I spent most of my time—there’s something satisfying about seeing your team climb the rankings, even if the AI occasionally pulls off impossible slap shots.
Weirdly, the training modes differ between the NES and SNES versions. On SNES, you can either jump into a full exhibition match or just practice shootouts, which is great when you’re trying to figure out the weirdly precise timing for dekes. The rink scrolls vertically as you skate, so you’re always chasing—or being chased—toward the net. It’s basic, but the speed keeps it tense.
Oh, and the Super Cup? Your season performance actually matters here, since your ranking decides if you even qualify. No participation trophies in this one.
