Play Pulse Online
You bounce a neon dot faster and faster between walls until your fingers can’t keep up—then diagonal barriers appear and wreck your rhythm while synth beats hammer your pulse into panic mode.

Pulse was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, though its developer and publisher details are not widely documented. It fits right into that era of simple, high-concept games designed to test reflexes rather than tell a story, relying on stark visuals and a driving soundtrack to create its intensity.
You control a bright, bouncing dot that travels horizontally or vertically across a bordered screen, ricocheting off the edges. The main objective is to survive as long as possible while the ball gradually speeds up, making each return more frantic. Diagonal barriers eventually slide into the play area, deflecting the ball at unpredictable angles and forcing you to adjust your timing constantly. The pacing is relentless; the game starts calmly but quickly escalates into a test of pure focus and hand-eye coordination. It feels like riding a wave of tension that just keeps building until you finally slip up.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
