You control Putty, a stretchy blue blob that can elongate and contract to move around. Your goal is to collect all the stars on each disk while avoiding enemies and hazards like spikes. The main mechanics involve stretching to reach platforms, bouncing off surfaces, and using momentum to cross gaps. The pacing is deliberate, with each screen requiring careful timing and observation. It feels tactile and slightly unpredictable, like handling a real glob of silly putty on a tilted surface.
