Super Putty came out for the Super Nintendo in 1993, published by System 3. It was part of that wave of quirky platformers that didn't take themselves too seriously, a nice change of pace from the more epic adventures on the system.

You control Putty, a stretchy blue blob that can flatten, bounce, and stretch to navigate screen by screen puzzles. The goal is to rescue your pink putty friends from cages scattered across each level. You'll squeeze through narrow gaps, use your elastic body to rebound off walls and enemies, and sometimes even copy enemy abilities by swallowing them. The pacing is methodical; it rewards experimentation over speed, though some jumps and enemy patterns can be surprisingly tricky. Playing it feels like slowly untangling a knot, patient and satisfying when everything finally clicks.
