Play Putty Moon (Japan) Online

You stretch, bounce, and inflate your gooey blob through space puzzles—sometimes squeezing through tight spots, other times floating past asteroids just barely. The Japanese version mixes up the levels enough to keep even veterans guessing.

Game Overview

Putty Moon (Japan) is one of those weirdly delightful SNES games that never got enough love. You control this stretchy blue blob—think silly putty with attitude—bouncing and squishing through space-themed levels packed with puzzles. The Japanese version feels just different enough from the Western release to make it interesting, with some levels rearranged and a few new challenges thrown in.

At first, I kept forgetting I could inflate like a balloon to float over gaps (which got me squished by more asteroids than I'd like to admit). But once it clicks, there's something oddly satisfying about morphing through tight spots or stretching just right to snag a hidden collectible. It's got that same playful vibe as Kirby, but with more... goo physics? If you're into offbeat retro platformers, this one's a blast.

Also, the soundtrack has this one level with spacey synth that somehow still gets stuck in my head.
