At first, I kept forgetting it wasn’t just a puzzle game—you’ve gotta think ahead with unit placement, but then it all explodes into colorful, chain-reaction madness. The RPG elements are light, but watching your blob soldiers get stronger after battles is oddly satisfying. And yeah, it’s Japan-only, so the menus take some guessing if you don’t read Japanese, but the gameplay’s intuitive enough to stumble through.
Honestly, it’s a shame this never left Japan—it’s the kind of bizarre mashup that makes retro gaming so fun to dig into.
