Puzzle Bobble 3 is one of those arcade games that looks simple at first—just shoot bubbles to match colors—but before long, you're leaning into the screen, trying to line up the perfect ricochet shot. The bubbles creep down slowly, and if you're not careful, they'll trap you. I lost more times than I'd like to admit because I got greedy going for big combos.

The later levels get seriously tricky, forcing you to think ahead or risk getting buried. There's something satisfying about clearing a huge chunk of the screen with one well-placed shot, though.
