Quartet came out for the Sega Master System in 1986, developed and published by Sega. It was one of the earlier co-op games on the system, a time when having a friend join in on the action was still a pretty novel concept outside of the arcades.
You control one of four space adventurers, each with a jetpack, moving screen by screen through a sci-fi base. Your main goal is to clear each room of enemies and find the exit, while collecting power-ups and point items along the way. The game is fast and demanding; enemies swarm constantly, and you have to manage your limited jetpack fuel carefully. It feels hectic and immediate, like you're always one mistake away from a game over.
