Play Quato Online
Bounce Quato through maze-like levels where one wrong angle sends you tumbling—those pixel-perfect jumps start easy, then wreck you. Pure '90s frustration with a satisfying *boing*.

Game Overview
Quato is one of those weird little MS-DOS games that somehow sticks with you. You control this bouncy ball (named Quato, naturally) through maze-like levels, trying to clear each stage without getting stuck or falling off. At first it feels simple—just hop around, right?—but then the angles get trickier, the platforms shrink, and suddenly you're sweating over pixel-perfect jumps.
The graphics are pure early '90s: bright colors, chunky pixels, and that satisfying *boing* sound when you land. No story, no fluff—just you versus increasingly devious level designs. It's got that "one more try" pull where you swear you'll nail the next run, even when the game's clearly laughing at you.
If you miss the days when games were hard but fair, and didn't need a tutorial to make sense, Quato's a great excuse to fire up DOSBox. Just don't blame me when you start muttering at your keyboard.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
