I picked up Quest for Camelot for the Game Boy Color back in 1998, a time when licensed platformers were everywhere. Titus Interactive published it, and it was based on the animated film of the same name. It fit right in with the handheld's library, offering a straightforward adventure without a lot of fuss.

You control Kayley, a young woman determined to recover Excalibur after it's stolen from Camelot. The game plays out across side-scrolling stages where you slash enemies with your sword, jump across gaps, and navigate environmental hazards. You also get brief sections where you ride a two-headed dragon through auto-scrolling shooter segments. The pacing is uneven at times, and some jumps demand precision. It feels a bit clunky by modern standards, but there's a simple, earnest charm to pushing through each screen.
