I picked up Quest for Camelot on the Game Boy Color back in 1998, a time when handheld games were really starting to show some color and ambition. Titus Interactive published it, and it was one of those licensed titles that tried to capture the feel of the animated film, but on a much smaller screen. It fit right in with the platformers and action adventures of that era, not groundbreaking but solid enough to spend some time with.

You play as Kayley, a young woman determined to become a knight of the Round Table. The goal is to recover Excalibur after it gets stolen, which means traveling through forests, castles, and underground passages. You move screen by screen, fighting off enemies with your sword or a bow, and there's a fair bit of platforming and item collecting involved. The pacing is methodical, and some sections can be tricky with precise jumps or enemy patterns. It feels like a straightforward, earnest adventure that doesn't overcomplicate things.
