Play R.B.I. Baseball 2 Online

Pick a team, swing for the fences with a satisfying *thwack*, and watch those blocky players slide into home. Simple, nostalgic, and way better with a friend arguing over pixel lineups.

Game Overview

R.B.I. Baseball 2 came out in 1990 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup, developed by Tengen. It was one of the few baseball games you could get on a computer back then, before consoles really took over the sports genre. The graphics were basic, just colorful sprites on a flat field, but it felt like a real step up from text-based simulations.

You control all nine players, switching between pitching, fielding, and batting with straightforward keyboard commands. The main goal is to outscore your opponent, inning by inning. Key mechanics include timing your swing to hit fastballs and curveballs, manually positioning fielders before a pitch, and trying to steal bases with a well-timed key press. The game moves at a quick pace; mistakes are punished instantly, and a single home run can decide a close game. It feels responsive and tense, especially when a line drive heads for the gap.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
