Play R.C. Grand Prix Online
Tweak your tiny RC car's gears and suspension, then squeeze past aggressive AI racers on tight tracks—it's janky but weirdly satisfying when you nail a perfect lap.

R.C. Grand Prix came out for the Sega Master System in 1987, developed and published by Sega. It was one of those early racing games that tried to do something a little different on a system still finding its feet. You don't control a person or a full-size car; you're racing a miniature remote-controlled car against other RC vehicles on tracks laid out in everyday locations.
You control a small, top-down view RC car, tuning its gear ratio and suspension before each race to handle the various track surfaces. The main objective is to win a series of cups by finishing first in several laps around tight, obstacle-filled courses. The AI racers are aggressive and will constantly bump and block you, making clean passes difficult. The controls are a bit slippery, demanding precise timing on turns to avoid spinning out or hitting walls. It feels clunky at first, but there's a genuine sense of accomplishment when you finally thread a perfect lap without a single collision.
