Rampage: World Tour came out for the Game Boy Color in 1999, developed by Digital Eclipse and published by Midway. It was part of that wave of arcade ports that tried to squeeze big cabinet energy into a handheld, and it arrived right when the GBC was hitting its stride with color. You got to take the destructive fun on the go, which felt pretty novel at the time.
You control one of three giant monsters, George the gorilla, Lizzie the lizard, or Ralph the wolf, and your goal is to simply wreck every city on the map. You move screen by screen, punching buildings, eating people, and swatting military vehicles that try to stop you. Health slowly drains over time, so you have to keep eating food and civilians to stay alive. The pace is constant and a little repetitive, but there's a straightforward satisfaction in reducing a city to rubble with your own hands (or claws). It feels like a portable dose of pure, uncomplicated chaos.
