Rampage: World Tour came out for the Game Boy Color in 1999, published by Midway Games. It was part of that wave of arcade ports that tried to squeeze big cabinet energy into a pocket system, and it fit right in with the pick-up-and-play style a lot of us looked for back then.
You control one of three mutated characters, George the gorilla, Lizzie the lizard, or Ralph the wolf, and your goal is to smash every building in each city while tanks, helicopters, and soldiers try to stop you. You move screen by screen, punching structures, eating civilians that pop out of windows, and avoiding projectiles. The game gets progressively harder as you advance, with more aggressive military resistance and trickier level layouts. It feels chaotic and silly in the best way, like you're tearing down a toy city with your thumbs.
