Game Overview
Rayman DS is one of those classic platformers that just feels right on the DS. You start off bouncing between floating islands, punching weird little mushroom enemies, and collecting those shiny yellow Lums—it’s got that same goofy charm as the older Rayman games. The touchscreen controls take some getting used to (I kept accidentally making Rayman helicopter-hair his way off cliffs), but once it clicks, the levels flow nicely.
What I like is how each world throws something new at you—one minute you’re dodging giant rolling apples, the next you’re riding a mosquito like some kind of bizarre steed. The music’s upbeat, the colors pop on the DS screen, and yeah, you’ll probably curse a few cheap enemy placements. Still, it’s a solid pick if you’re craving that old-school platforming vibe with a handheld twist.
