Your main goal is to free the Electoons trapped in cages scattered throughout each stage, which requires careful exploration and sometimes backtracking once you gain new abilities. Signature mechanics include using Rayman's hair as a helicopter to glide over gaps, and a grappling hook move to swing across certain obstacles. The pacing is brisk, but the difficulty can spike unexpectedly, especially in later stages where precision jumps are crucial. It feels like a faithful, if slightly awkward, translation of a colorful and demanding platformer to a handheld format.
