Play Rayman : Hoodlum's Revenge Online

You switch between Rayman and Globox mid-level, solving puzzles where one holds a switch so the other can dash through—all with that weirdly cool isometric view making it feel bigger than a GBA screen. The Hoodlums are back, and they’ve got Globox hostage (finally playable, took ‘em long enough).

Game Overview

Rayman: Hoodlum's Revenge came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2005, a time when the handheld was still getting solid platformers even as the DS started to take over. Ubisoft developed it as a direct sequel to Rayman 3, picking up right where that story left off. It felt like a proper continuation, not just a side project, which was a nice surprise for a portable title.

You control Rayman and Globox, switching between them on the fly to solve environmental puzzles. One character might hold down a pressure plate so the other can cross a gap, or you use their unique abilities to access new areas. The main goal is to rescue Teensies from the returning Hoodlum army, which involves navigating isometric levels, punching enemies, and collecting Lums. The pacing is brisk, and some later stages get genuinely tricky with their timing-based challenges. It feels like a clever, condensed version of a console Rayman adventure.
